After grouting and cleaning, an additional coat can be applied to enhance long‑term protection against organic matter, dirt, and outdoor contaminants.

How It Works

EcoProtec Pre Grout Protection forms a temporary protective barrier on textured porcelain surfaces. This barrier prevents cement, grout, and jointing compounds from bonding to the tile surface, making residue removal easier. After grouting, an additional coat enhances long‑term resistance to organic stains and outdoor contaminants.

Instructions for Use

Preparation

1. Ensure the surface is completely clean, dry, and free from dirt, grime, cement, and grout.
2. If needed, pre‑clean using EcoProtec Intensive Cleaner diluted 1:5.
3. Scrub with a white nylon pad and rinse thoroughly.
4. Allow the surface to dry fully.

Application

1. Shake the bottle before use.
2. Apply evenly using a broad brush, foam roller, or light pressure sprayer.
3. Allow to dry for 30 minutes.
4. Apply a second coat.
5. Leave to cure for at least 1 hour before grouting or pointing.
6. Once grouting is complete and residues removed, apply a further coat over the entire surface including joints.

Notes

• Do not apply below 5°C or above 25°C.
• Clean tools with water after use.
• Empty containers are recyclable.

Aftercare

• Sweep and wash surfaces routinely.
• Clean using EcoProtec General Cleaner.
• For stubborn cement stains, use EcoProtec Cement, Grout & Salt Remover.
• For jointing compound residues, use EcoProtec Joint Residue Remover.

Storage & Safety

• Store in a cool, dry, frost‑free environment.

• Shelf life: up to 2 years unopened.
