How It Works
EcoProtec Wall & Floor Grout Protector penetrates the grout surface to form a breathable, invisible barrier that repels water, oils, and grease. This barrier prevents staining and discoloration while allowing moisture vapor to escape, ensuring the grout remains healthy and durable. The non‑film‑forming nature of the sealer preserves the natural appearance and texture of the grout.
Instructions for Use
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry.
- If necessary, clean first with EcoProtec Grout Haze & Limescale Remover.
- Adjust the spray nozzle to the desired width.
- Hold the spray 15–20 cm from the grout joint and apply evenly along the joint.
- Once the grout has absorbed the sealer, wipe tile surfaces with a microfibre cloth to remove excess.
- Allow to dry for 1 hour before use.
- For wider or deeper joints, apply a second coat.
- Avoid covering or wetting the surface for 72 hours while curing.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight or above 25 °C.
- Do not apply while underfloor heating is on.
Aftercare
- Floors: Mop routinely with EcoProtec Stone & Porcelain Aftercare Cleaner.
- Walls: Spray and wipe with EcoProtec Multi‑Purpose Cleaner.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, frost‑free environment between +5 °C and +25 °C. Shelf life: up to 2 years unopened.
Safety Information
Contains 2‑Methylisothiazol‑3(2H)‑one. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves, clothing, and eye protection. If on skin: wash with plenty of water and soap. If irritation or rash occurs, seek medical advice. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
